Watching my mate comfort his daughter is by far the most amazing thing I have ever seen, as well as the hottest. Curling over her body, Samson wraps himself around Foxy, slowly lowering them to the floor when her legs give out.

“Shhh,” Samson whispers, my ears barely able to make out his words, “It’s alright sweet girl. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.” The thickness in his voice makes me believe he might be crying but rather than stand around and stare at them, I make my way over to Tyler who opens his arms for me to settle into.

“This is totes hot babe,” Tyler jokes as his teeth nibble a path across my neck.

“Shut up or I’ll have you fixed.”

“Ouch!” Cradling me closer, he pushes his hips against me suggestively, “I think your bark is bigger than your bite.”

“Psh, you’d like my bark and my bite.” Just to prove my point, I snap my teeth in his face with a mock growl. I’ve never seen someone’s eyes dilate so quickly, the pupil quickly eating up the green of his iris. His cock growing hard against my leg is confirmation enough. “Told you,” I whisper, inching closer until our lips are mere breaths from touching.

“Dear lord, get a room you two.” Liam complains, his face covered in distaste, identical to Logan’s. Tyler snarks back at them with a rude comment but my attention is focused on Samson and Foxy who has finally calmed down. They are still seated on the floor, Foxy gesturing animatedly about something that has Samson smiling like a complete loon.

His eyes are red ringed but shining with a happiness that makes me both jealous and ecstatic. I haven't known the man for very long, but I can see the uncertainty and hope simmering under the surface of a badass alpha who just needs a little support and I am more than happy to help my mate reach his full potential.

When Samson glances over to me and Tyler, he sends a saucy wink to our position before turning back around to continue catching up with Foxy.

I must have just dozed off when Tyler is jostling me awake, “I'm sorry baby but we need to head to the meeting with Isaac and Kalli.”

“I wasn't sleeping,” I grumble, a jaw-cracking yawn interrupting my declaration. “I'm ready, let’s go.” Grabbing his hand, I let Tyler pull me to my feet, nearly falling back over at the sudden movement.

“Whoa there!” Samson exclaims, easily catching me and setting me back on my feet. “You're going to have to watch your balance now, we don't want you hurting yourself or the baby.”

“Wait, WHAT?!” The scream from Lily near blows out my eardrums but the tackle from her nearly knocks me back to the ground. “You're pregnant! I should have known.”

“What’d you mean you're pregnant? How did this happen? You’ve only known them a couple days!” Liam charges forward, his sapphire eyes glowing with his bird so close to the surface.

“What do YOU mean ‘how did this happen’?’ Lily turns on her mate, her hands firmly planted on her hips.
